CIMB Bank Philippines, hailed the best bank in the country by Forbes, launched the first Maverick Management Program, an elite training program for top graduating students and young professionals that will give them the opportunity to gain exposure to the new way of banking. This unique management trainee initiative features an intensive 12-month holistic strategic leadership and management development program where employees get exposed to various aspects of the fintech and banking industries such as digital channels, data analytics, strategic finance, and product development.
The inaugural Maverick Management Program kicked off with longtime partner Ateneo de Manila University and is part of the Bank’s ongoing academic partnership with Ateneo’s John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM). Leading the launch event were CIMB Bank PH CEO Vijay Manoharan (fourth from right) and JGSOM Dean Dr. Roberto Galang (fourth from left).
Also present in the event were Ateneo alumnus and CIMB Bank PH Chief Marketing Officer D’Artagnan Aguilar, Chief Innovation Officer Shereen Michelle Vallauthan, Chief Legal Counsel Atty. Rowena Wilwayco, Chief Human Resources Officer Annie Caw, Head of Products and Segments Jonathan Zheng Yan Lee, and Ateneo Department Chairman of the JGSOM Department of Marketing and Law Dr. Oman Tanchingco.
