E-commerce and logistics delivery providers both aim to satisfy its customer’s needs and expectations, and they depend on each other for their success. Convenience, quickness, personalization, and a large selection of goods and services are all provided by an online retailer. Contrarily, logistics makes sure that the goods and services are delivered to the client in a timely, secure, and economical manner. When combined, they produce a satisfying client experience and loyalty that might result in recommendations and repeat business.

Last January 10, 2024, Shoppedia and PhilEx embarked in a partnership that will not only benefit both firms but also grow their presence in the sector with their customers in mind.

Shoppedia is an e-commerce in the Philippines founded by Neil Laas Garcia, a Filipino techpreneur who has already established a complete network and linkage with merchants and brand owners across industries, both locally and globally. Shoppedia is driven and committed to providing worldwide standard services to complement its superb products that are unwavering in their true and authentic identity and form.

PhilEx Solutions is more than just another logistics company; it is a “state-of-the-art” in the industry, offering complete contactless, hassle-free solutions to every Filipino family that wishes to send a parcel to loved ones, friends, or customers. Sem Sangoyo and his wife Anne formed PhilEx Solutions; both are online entrepreneurs with extensive understanding of logistics services. They witnessed how inconvenient it is to ship their items to clients, especially when the global Pandemic strikes in 2020.

Shoppedia and PhilEx together discuss and identify common issues that arise from ordering products from the e-commerce platform and delivering packages to customers during the MOA Signing and Ceremony of their Partnership Agreement.

“Whether you run an online store or an e-commerce platform, if your logistics service fails, no matter how committed you are to your business, you are nothing. No matter how magnificent the products are or how great your e-commerce concept is, you will fail if you don’t partner with the right company,” added Garcia.

According to Garcia, Shoppedia will be having something big in the next months.

PhilEx operates a statewide network of 500 operators and warehouses to ensure that Shoppedia items are delivered safely and quickly to clients. Both firms strive for client satisfaction by ensuring that all products sent are properly packaged and inspected prior to distribution.

“Our products are carefully screened because we communicate with sellers and suppliers on a regular basis to ensure compliance with regulations. Furthermore, products are weighed (in kilos) to estimate PhilEx’s logistics fee. We are working closely with DTI, especially now that we will be promoting the finest of the greatest Filipino products. Having stated that, comprehensive product descriptions are disclosed, as witnessed by our partner, PhilEx,” explained Garcia.

When it comes to the delivery procedure, PhilEx assures clients that its delivery partners, riders, and drivers are well-trained and have protocols in place to overcome the communication gap during parcel transit (pick-up and drop-off).
