Ajido, banners PH Team in 14-under in Asian Age Group Championship

Considered one of the country’s top male junior swimmers, Ajido holds six national records in the 13-under category (27.75 seconds in 50m fly and 2:20.38 in 200m back) he established in the 2022 Philippine National Games. He also holds the record in the 100-m fly,200-m fly, 200-m IM, and 100-m back.

The 14-year-old student at the Montessori Integrated School in Antipolo and member of the Quezon City Buccaneers Swim Club was a two-time Southeast Asian Age Group Championships campaigner, having won eight medals, including two golds.

He qualified for the Philippine Team competing in the 11th Asian Age Group Championship slated from February 26 to March 9 at the New Clark City Aquatics Center in Capas, Tarlac. He will compete in the boys 12-14 class 100-meter butterfly with a qualifying time of 57.12 seconds.

Cheers and support Ajido and the rest of the 44-man PH swimming team as they try to make a grade against the best in the region in this prestigious event the country is hosting for the first time since 1978.
