In his YouTube Channel, Tune In Kay Tunying, broadcaster Anthony Taberna spoke to Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Spokesperson of running president Bongbong Marcos about the future of UniTeam’s standard bearer and how would they react if Iglesia Ni Cristo chose other candidate to endorse for their bloc voting.
Taberna asked, “Sasama ba ang loob ninyo?”
“Karapatan ng kahit sinong tao, karapatan ng kahit sinong kandidato, at karapatan ng kahit sinong grupo, simbahan, o sekta na pumili at magpahayag ng kanilang susuportahan. Subalit kung mangyare yung tinatanong mo sa akin, Ka Tunying, siyempre ay malulungkot kami. Pero magagalit? Hindi ho kami magagalit. Rerespetuhin po namin at ipadiriwang ang karapatan ninuman na pumili, makapili ng kaniyang tutulungan at susuportahan,” replied Atty. Rodriguez.
Taberba is a solid member of Iglesia Ni Cristo congregation.
