VP Leni visited Cebu to assess the situations of affected families of Typhoon Odette

Vice President Leni Robredo visited Cebu today to assess the situations of families affected by Typhoon Odette.

The Office of the Vice President is continuously working together with authorites and giving aid to the victims of the typhoon which hit many provinces of Visayas and Mindanao.

Below is the transcript of the Vice President shared on her Facebook account.

“We visited Cebu today. The ferocity of Typhoon Odette was very evident
everywhere. So much destruction in both small and big structures. We visited two barangays -Guadalupe and Sapangdaku. In Guadalupe alone, the houses of about 800 families were totally destroyed.

Maraming salamat kay Former Mayor Tommy and Margot Osmeña for meeting us at the evacuation sites and Former DILG Usec Bimbo Fernandez for accompanying us.

We also met with Vice Governor Junjun Davide to discuss the situation in the entire province.
