To start of, after unwrapping the box of the new vivo smartphone from the sealed plastic, the new mobile phone looks like a premium model just by looking at the box.
Inside the box, there’s the instruction manual and other paper documents that come with the phone, including the warranty information. Out of the box, there is the injector SIM pin and a jelly case for the phone’s protection.
The box also contains the Type-C USB cable, earphone, and the 18W Fast Charger adapter. And of course the unit itself, vivo Y31, which is the latest smartphone that can deliver all-day performance, whether for gaming or productivity. This device is built with a longer run time, functions seamlessly among several apps with a high-performance processor, and can takes photos and videos in stunning detail even at night.
The vivo Y31 packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture on the rear. It is fine-tuned with a second 2-megapixel bokeh camera and a third 2-megapixel macro camera, well complemented by an 8-megapixel camera on the front for finer selfies. It is also powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supported by a proprietary fast charging which are perfect for all-day fun.
Shooting photos and video with vivo Y31 is also impressive. I have tried several shots and I am satisfied with the resolutions that came out of the 48MP camera and also when I tried the macro and front-facing selfie camera.
A non-stop gadget action should be matched with an ultra-reliable processor. The vivo Y31 functions on the latest Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 662 octa-core processor that allows for a lag-free, multi-tasking between apps. This efficiency runs on Android Funtouch OS 11 and allows for dual-sim with acceptance of nano-sim cards. To top it off, it stands out in accessibility with its side-mounted fingerprint scanner technology.
For the storage, I am satisfied because it has an 8GB and 128GB RAM/ROM storing capacity, which should be the top priority, aside from having a great camera and processor, when you’re shopping for a new smartphone. More storage and big ROM will help the phone run smoothly and prevent lag on daily use.
On first impression, vivo Y31 looks elegant and sleek for a midrange smartphone. It’s nice to the grip for easy handling. The display screen runs smooth because of its 6.58-inch FHD (Full High Definition) and Halo FullView™ display perfect for mobile browsing and for an immersive gaming experience. The UI is user-friendly and is not tight with bloatware which is perfectly good because we don’t need too much pre-installed apps on our smartphone.
vivo Y31 has 5,000mAh battery capacity that powers the device and support the 18W fast charging adapter via the Type-C USB cable.
Expect that the pricing for vivo Y31 is not on the entry-level category because this is a mid-range smartphone. But rest assured that vivo Y31 is a bang-for-the-buck smartphone. With all the specs and features of this phone, I’m sure it’s worth your money.
