Everybody wants to be healthy. That’s a no-brainer. But not everyone can enjoy living with a healthy lifestyle. Polution? Vices? Unhealthy diet? And now, COVID-19.

These are just some of the toxics that pollute our body and if don’t do something, it may harm and kill us. We need get fit and maintain a healthy living jf we want to enjoy life the fullest.

Of course, COVID-19 is so lethal and one small mistake, we can be infected with the virus. But if we’re fit and we eat a good amount of food packed with vitamins and minerals, our chance of getting sick is much lower.

Leading life insurer Pru Life UK is rolls out a series of financial wellness virtual forums, called “PRUWise Webinars”, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of protection and guiding people on building a strong financial portfolio especially during these uncertain times. The first two webinars were attended by over a thousand customers and guests from all over the country.

“It is one’s responsibility to ensure his or her financial security despite the uncertain economic climate. We can achieve this through developing a sound financial plan that prioritizes liquidity and financial protection, as well as captures the right investment opportunities,” said Mark Anthony Valino, Pru Life UK Vice President for Investment Marketing.

PRUWise invited Enzo Bonoan for a special virtual event thaf would help other people know more about healthy living while attaining financial stability during these difficult times.

Wellness coach Bonoan, is a wellness entrepreneur, obstacle racer and runner, part-time model, and also a current finalist of Century Tuna Superbods.

How to achieve a fit and active lifestyle?

10 commandments of exercise and nutrition

1 . Know your goals – write down your goals for the next 90 days. You can check out the pulse app to help you know your bmi, to know if you should gain or lose weight.

2 . Know your calorie goal range.

3 . Include protein in each meal. Protein is king when it comes to diet. Protein helps with muscle repair. Includes naturally occuring fats.

4 . Get 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday. Fruits and vegetables have tons of benefits: fiber, anti-oxidants, phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals. It helps us feel fuller.

5 . Practice MO-VA-BA (Moderation-Variety-Balance).

6 . Exercise muscle groups at least 1-2x weekly. Exercise is something that improves progress. Diet alone works but it is not as effective if you don’t exercise.

a . Push and pull muscles
b . Train legs and strengthen your core
c . Do cardio

7 . Aim for progress.

Make progress through any of the following: more repetitions, more resistance/weight, slower tempo, and with more frequency.

Progress improves fitness, forces the body to adapt by introducing new physical stress.

8 . Form and safety first. Example do plank in the proper way to make faster progress with good form.

9 . Track or note down your progress. It allows you to make sure that your gettimg closer to your goals and reasses from there.

10 . Enjoy the journey.
