Tealive, Southeast Asia’s leading milk tea brand, today announced the opening of its first outlet in Manila located at SM Jazz Mall, Makati. Born in 2017, Tealive has quickly grown to over 700 outlets worldwide. With the establishment of the brand’s first store in Manila, Tealive is ready to brew joyful and breakthrough experiences to flip the way Filipinos drink milk tea – leading with Tealive’s signature Aren Palm Sugar Series.

Welcome to The Flip Life

Have you ever had your milk tea served upside down?  That is what makes Tealive’s signature Aren Palm Sugar series significantly unique from any other milk tea out there.

Behind the flip is Aren Palm Sugar, an all-natural sweetener sourced from Arenga Pinnata palm trees in Borneo. With its sweet-yet-savoury taste profile, it serves as an even healthier sweetener than brown sugar.

The thick texture of Aren Palm Sugar creates a truly distinct drinking experience. Each drink in the Aren Palm Sugar series is served flipped, allowing the sugar to beautifully flow to the top of the cup like lava. Once the sugar has settled, customers then flip the drinks upright, mixing in the aren palm sugar to add a rich, complex layer of flavor to the Tealive drink of their choice.

Tealive Aren Palm Sugar Series comes in a selection of 5 flavours, Aren Palm Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, Aren Palm Sugar Signature Chocolate, Aren Palm Sugar Signature Coffee, Aren Palm Sugar Milk with Black Diamond, and Aren Palm Sugar Nishio Matcha.

Drink Different

Alongside the Aren Palm Sugar Series and core offerings of milk tea, coffee, chocolate, matcha, and ice-shaken drinks, Tealive also launches with two premium innovative offerings to bring joy to Filipino taste buds. Designed for maximum delight, the Indulge Series combines Tealive’s creativity with popular toppings from around the world such as Lotus Biscoff, Oreo, and Salted Caramel, making it possible for people to quench their thirst and satisfy their cravings at the same time. For those with adventurous palates, the Big Bang series puts together icy-cold brews with warm brown sugar pearls for explosive bursts of flavor in every sip.

On Tealive’s expansion in the Philippines, Mike Dumaual, general manager, Tealive Philippines, is ecstatic about the company’s prospects in making their unique mark in the country. “With our first branch opening in Manila, and with more to come, we are excited to offer Filipino milk tea lovers delicious, freshly-brewed beverages born from our commitment to innovation. From our drinks to the ways we prioritize our customer experience, at Tealive, our mission is to change the way the world drinks tea, such as promoting online orders via QR code scan instead of ordering at the counter. We are here to make you Drink Different,” he added.

Tealive has dominated the Southeast Asia region at diverse locations in various store formats, from drive-thru to kiosks, shoplots, petrol stations as well as in shopping malls and office complexes. Now, the plan is to be bring its experience across Philippines by opening 30 stores by end of 2022.

With the aim to digitise today’s offline-dominated milk tea industry by providing an omnichannel experience, Tealive targets to launch its Tealive app in April 2022 that boasts a streamlined pick-up feature, in-app delivery & personalised loyalty programme to delight their customers.
