Brace yourselves, fellow motorists. Tomorrow, July 12 will be the first day that The Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 Project (MMSS3) Toll will be collecting toll fees to those who are using the NLEX-Balintawak to Buendia (back-and-forth) stretch skyway.

As expected, it’s not going to be cheap but nevertheless, the amount of convenience and comfort in driving this long stretch. The Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 is an elevated expressway from Buendia, Makati City to the North Luzon Expressway in Balintawak, Quezon City with a length of about 18.83 kilometers.
Moderate to heavy traffic will be expected to run along EDSA highway and other routes beyond the Skyway Stage 3 because some motorists will be avoiding paying the toll fee set for Skyway Stage 3. It’s everyone’s choice.

You may opt to use the Skyway Stage 3 but be aware of the extravagant toll fees (actually, it’s not) or stay on the other side of the road and stick with the road traffic.
