Unboxing the device
The 6.67-inch gadget unit and its accompanying accessories are neatly packaged in the box.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G unit, USB Type-C cable for the Smart 120W HyperCharge adapter, SIM card ejector pin, and protective jelly case are all included in the box. The user handbook and fast guide, as well as the IMEI sticker, are also included in the box.
Initial Thoughts and First Impressions
At first glance, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G appears sleek and durable.
The camera capabilities and system on the smartphone are outstanding, including a 200MP ultra-high quality big picture sensor with OIS and a 7P lens. When combined with cutting-edge algorithms and other features, this camera allows you unrivaled creative freedom.
It has a triple-camera setup with a 200MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear with a lovely bump design. The cameras are fully equipped with OIS for clear images day or night. Front face, we have the 16MP selfie camera.
Premium-looking design
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G has a premium-looking design.
Although the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G’s 7.9mm thickness may seem a bit large to some, it feels solid in the hands. It has a good grip and the ideal display size for us. And before we forget, this device is dust and splash resistant to IP53 standards.
Look minimalist but memorable
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G sports an amazing glass back and a glamorous metal camera design that provide both elegance and durability. The 3D complete arc shape creates a more comfortable curve in your hand. Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G comes in 3 color variants: Polar White, Sky Blue, and Midnight Black.
The unit that was sent to us for review has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. I used the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G as my daily driver and was blown away by how smoothly it ran everything from browsing the web and social media to doing IG Reels and TikTok videos.
Furthermore, the battery life is never disappointing.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G is already on the market and costs P21,999. Is it mid-range worthy?
