PRC Bio-Molecular Laboratory opens in Clark

Clark Development Corporation ( CDC) President and CEO Noel F. Manankil, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Senior Vice President Joshua Bingcang, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, Senator Richard Gordon, Tarlac Governor Susan Yap, BCDA President and CEO and National Task Force against COVID-19 Deputy Chief Implementer Vivencio Dizon, and officials from Philippine Red Cross (PRC) led the opening of the PRC Bio-Molecular Laboratory in Clark.

The laboratory is equipped with Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machines with a testing capacity of 2000 samples per day.

The laboratory will help to ramp up testing capability against COVID-19.

Aside from the bio-molecular laboratory in Clark, a PRC Bio-Molecular Laboratory with the same capacity was also put up in Subic while eight other facilities will also be opened in Batangas, Laguna, Mandaue City, Cebu, Isabela, Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga City, Bacolod City, and Surigao.
