At the rate the Omicron variant active cases in the country continues to increase, it is likely that almost everyone that we know are infected and tested positive to COVID-19.
It’s definitely a bad news and not a good way start the new year but the numbers don’t lie.
As of this writing, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has announced on his Facebook account that it’s unfortunate that he too, have been tested positive to COVID-19 Omicron variant.
He is now currently in isolation but he promise that he will still work remotely even with his condition.
“Hi everyone, bad news, I’ve tested positive for covid-19. I have sore throat, fever, and body aches, but please don’t worry!
I’ll continue to work remotely while in isolation for the next 7 days,” Mayor Vico said in his Facebook post.
He mentioned that he had several close call with Delta but he wasn’t able to protect himself from Omicron.
