The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced today the start of taxi and TNVS operations under general community quarantine areas to aid commuters and passengers in their daily commuting to work or for essential purposes.
LTFRB likewise said that only vehicles that uses cashless payment transactions will be allowed on the road to guarantee passenger safety and protection from possible COVID-19 transmission.
Above all, drivers must strictly implement and observe quarantine protocols such as wearing of face mask and social distancing inside their vehicles.
There are currently 34,000 total units of taxi cabs and TNVS that will be returning on the road again to augment inadequate transportation woes in Metro Manila, NCR, and Central Luzon.
