Lady driver killed in Laguna finally laid to rest

The family of the slain lady driver are still seeking for justice as the 34-year old victim was laid to rest.

“Mahal na mahal kita,” one of her loved ones cried in front of her sealed tomb, as seen in a video shown on Monday on GMA News’ Unang Balita.

Robyn Jang Lucero was found dead inside her gray Mitsubishi G4 sedan on the night of June 28 Sunday along a dark portion of Bypass Road in Calamba, Laguna.

According to Lucero’s girlfriend Meyah Amatorio, Lucero said she will drive three passengers from Laguna to Gil Puyat in Metro Manila that night. Amatorio called her after a few hours but Lucero was no longer answering her call.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Gene Licud, chief of the Calamba Police Station, on Saturday said they have already the leads and identities of the persons involved in the crime.

Lucero bore 52 stab wounds.

Licud also mentioned that both Lucero and Amatorio knew the said persons personally.

Licud urged all the persons involved and who were behind the crime to voluntarily surrender to police to avoid more troubles.
