Kapampangan swimmers collected a total of 280 points in the tournament which served as a fund-raising drive for 10 coaches from affiliated swimming clubs of the Swim League Philippines (SLP) who need immediate help.
According to SLP president Fred Atienza, a total of 500 swimmers, including those who were unable to swim in the 1st Muntinlupa Swim Cup sponsored by Mayor Ruffy Biazon a week ago were allowed to participate in the tournament in partnership with FINIS Philippines, Go Swim, Behrouz Persian Cuisine, Police Colonel Rogelio “Pojie” Peñones – Director of the Northern Police District, Philius Realty Inc., The Gratias and Chachis Kitchen.
Sharknado Swim Team placed second followed by Rey Panlaqui Swim Club and BFRV CL Giant in the program also sponsored by the Central Northern Luzon CAR Swimming Coaches Association and Solid Coaches Association of the Philippines
In Class B, Elite Swim Team won against Sharknado Swim Club, Laguna Capitol Swimming Club and Tarlac Mako Sharks Swim Team; Tarlac Mako Sharks Team was champion in Class C against Elite Swim Team, SCT Swimming Ninjas and Laguna Capitol Swim Club, while Sharknado Swim Team, Aqua Jardin Gliders Swim Team, Assumption Antipolo SwimmTeam and Mabalacat City Flying Barracudas topped Class D.
Shan Kervie Medina, Che Doronilla Jr., Gerald Esquivel, Francis Luke Ebcas, Alejandro Guiriba Jr., Caster Roy Carag and Fred Eimiel Febiar were named Most Valuable Swimmer in their respective age-groups in the boys class; while MVP awardees in the girls class were Trixie Ortiguera, Rhetz Andaya, Alarie Somuelo, Reign Margaret Magnate, Hazel Mae Tan, Stacey Liane Traje and Mikaela Ruth Crystal.
Laurence Tangcay, Van Andrei Piñon, Elijah Dowwen Fronda, Gerald Esquivel, Shan Kervie Medina, Che Doronilla Jr., Pia Gienne Gito, Isabell Ramirez, Rianne Avril Timbol, Alliyah Lei won the Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) award in Class A. Obregon, Rhetz Andaya, Trixie Ortiguera, Alarie Somuelo.
Joaquin Taylor Plazo, Achilles Ortiguera, Vilson Corpuz, Paolo James Tobosa, Caster Roy Carag, Ronniel David, Miesha Icban, Eliana Lauren Cedo, Antoinette Caleigh Garcia, Claire Briana Lim, Jaebelle Maczeene Montiero, Loraine Panganiban won the MOS in Class B. , Stacey Lianne Traje, and Katherine Claire Gapuz
