in this age of social media, almost anything can be copied and faked online. Users are often confuse when they’re looking up the pages they’re following online, and many times they landed on a wrong but similar Facebook accounts.

There’s nothing wrong with fan-made Facebook pages because that’s how fans show their love and support for the person or brand that they follow on Facebook.

In the event that a suspicious page tries to contact us (Maessenger, SMS, or email), GCash advises us not to entertain them at all.

“Do not talk to them because they can steal information from you and they can wipe out all the data (including your money) inside your GCash wallet.

Report these fake pages to help.gcash.com. #BeInTheKnow,” said the advisory from GCash.
