After the massive devastation that Typhoon Odette brought, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao, telcos are already on the move of restoring network coverages and operations to help our kababayans in contacting their loved ones who were affected by the recent incident.

Globe Telecom President and CEO Ernest Cu shared the network’s update through his Facebook account.

“Our network engineers in Iloilo are working non-stop to get our services fully up and running after the devastation from #OdettePH. As of today, our network is 88% operational in Iloilo, thanks to the tight coordination with the LGU, helping our manpower and equipment pass through and proceed with clearing operations and restoration work. Our efforts for the rest of Visayas and Mindanao are also ongoing, with Mindanao nearing full restoration already,” said Cu in his post on Facebook on Wednesday, December 22.
