At least a thousand activists joined forces along the highway of UP Diliman in Quezon City to protest amidst President Duterte’s last State of the Nation Address (SONA) that will happen today, July 26, at the Batasang Pambansa.
At exactly 4 p.m. today, President Duterte will deliver his last SONA to millions of Filipinos, it is the second time that he will take the SONA amid the prevailing situation, the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Various activist groups combined to dissent the Duterte’s administration.
In a live report of One Balita Pilipinas, some activists were not wearing a mask and not observing Physical distancing.
As of now, the Department of Health (DOH) has reported 55 more cases of highly contagious Delta Variant, bringing a total of 119 cases in the country.
