Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sends his greetings and message of gratitude to the Filipino-Canadians of more than 837,000 of Filipino origin living in Canada. Trudeau also commends all the brave Filipino frontliners who are fighting against the global pandemic.
In the video, Trudeau also raises the issue of racism, saying that “racism, in any form, has no place in Canada.”
Every month of June Canada celebrates Filipino-Canadian Heritage Month and recognizes the great contributions they made and continue to make in Canada.
