6-hour blackout experienced in some parts of Bulacan

A heavy rainfall with gusty wind dropped in some parts of Meycauayan, Bulacan province late afternoon on Sunday (June 7).

The heavy downpour was helpful considering the temperature was at 34° C that day. The weather forecast was heavy rainfall in the late afternoon with occasional lightning and thunderstorm.

Minutes later, the electricity power went off.

The blackout lasted for about six hours with electricity returning at around eleven in the evening.

It was the longest blackout that occured this year in Meycauayan.
